پژوهش حاضر با هدف رابطه بین نگرش به مدرسه و پیوند با مدرسه با نقش میانجی امید به تحصیل انجام گرفت. روش اجرای پژوهش توصیفی از نوع همبستگی به روش معادلات ساختاری (SEM) بود. جامعه آماری این پژوهش شامل تمامی دانش‌‏آموزان پسر مقطع دوم متوسطه شهرستان ثلاث باباجانی بود که با توجه به جدول مورگان و با استفاده از روش نمونه‏‌گیری خوشه‌‏ای چندمرحله‏‌ای تعداد 200 نفر به نوان نمونه انتخاب شدند. برای جمع‌‏آوری داده‌‏ها از پرسشنامه نگرش به مدرسه کوچ و سیکل (2003)، پرسشنامه پیوند با مدرسه رضایی شریف (1389) و پرسشنامه امید به تحصیل خرمایی و کمری (1396) استفاده شد. نتایج تجزیه و تحلیل داده‌‏ها نشان داد نگرش به مدرسه بر پیوند با مدرسه اثر مستقیم دارد (44/0=β)، امید به تحصیل بر پیوند با مدرسه اثر مستقیم دارد (49/0=β)، ، نگرش به مدرسه بر امید به تحصیل اثر مستقیم دارد (59/0=β) و نگرش به مدرسه بر پیوند با مدرسه از طریق امید به تحصیل اثر غیر مستقیم دارد (28/0=β).
